Bespoke Diagnostics and Repair Services
Fault diagnosis and repair of difficult to obtain or expensive electronics modules
Alongside repairs listed in our catalogue, we work with highly regarded prestige car businesses to diagnose and repair faults where repair is the only viable solution.

We're proud that we've been pivotal in returning very rare classic cars to full health, such as two Porsche 959s. We've saved the owners of more recent cars £1,000s by avoiding the need to purchase very expensive replacement electronics modules. Here's just a few examples that stand out;
-
Avoided the need to purchase a new engine ECU for a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador, saving over £10,000.

-
Repaired a completely non-functioning, fuse blowing, NIT (infotainment unit) from a Ferrari 458 Speciale saving over £4,000.

-
Repaired a damaged fuse box from a Ferrari F40 saving over £7,000.

-
Diagnosed and repaired several Ferrari instrument clusters from F599 to F458 with a range of issues from burn damage to CAN communication failure... savings totalling over £20,000.

How do we do this?

We have a rare blend of deep automotive knowledge combined with electronics engineering skills to design level. Over the years we've developed strategies, skills and tools to tackle often 'one off' challenges. Documentation is usually scarce so we reverse-engineer parts of the circuit. When we know what it's supposed to do, we can test and repair it!

What's the Process?
Please get in touch to discuss your needs. We'll let you know if we can help and we can agree next steps built around your goals.

If you’re located within 25 miles of Hemel Hempstead (HP2), U.K. we’ll come to you whether you are a private vehicle owner or a garage workshop / repair centre. We can advise and assist with the diagnostic process which may include determining where in the vehicle the fault is located.
Going beyond the expected
Working from original component specifications we'll often cross-reference newer parts that are superior to the original. Our repair techniques will typically be more robust than the original, especially where we see weakness in the original design. Our repairs are made to last!

Transparency matters. We regularly share photos and video of our work. If you're operating a vehicle workshop we know how important it is to set clear expectations and keep your customers up to date. See below the photos we shared of this Ferrari instrument cluster showing the damage and the repair.
