For Repairs in Our Catalogue
If the repair service you need is in our Repair Catalogue, the process is;

1. Purchase the repair service

2. At checkout write about the fault symptoms you've experienced
​
3. Dispatch your item to us for repair using our 'Guide to Shipping Items to Motivelectronics' below
​
4. Repair turnaround time is typically 3 business days from the date we receive your item unless otherwise stated in the repair listing
​
5. Return shipping time varies based on your location. U.K. domestic is next business day, international varies from 3 to 6 days

If you see 'Estimate Shipping' at checkout, please get in touch for a quotation. ​​

If you require a faster service, have a high value / rare item, or you'd prefer to drop off and/or collect your unit from our workshops, please get in touch. We offer a while-you-wait service on some repairs.

Guide to Shipping Items to Motivelectronics
This guide is to help ensure that sending your item to us is as fast and efficient as possible. If you are shipping from outside the U.K. please read the 'Information for Customers Shipping from Outside the U.K.' section that follows these steps:​
1. Pack the item you are shipping in a strong box with plenty of padding around the unit. Ensure the item is not lose in the box.

2. Print and include a copy of your order (sent via email) inside the box. If you are unable to print your order, it is very important you include the following information inside the box:

Your phone number (cell/mobile is preferred)

Describe the issues you'd like repaired (especially any intermittent issues)
3. Choose a tracked shipping service from a reputable courier. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery in the U.K. and DHL Express for international shipments. We advise using a service with shipping insurance. Our shipping address is:

4. Fix the shipping documentation required by your courier securely to the box. We advise over-taping shipping labels with clear tape.

Item Value:
Provide a value to your courier for the item that is appropriate for a defective item. We can reclaim UK sales tax applied at import, but we cannot yet reclaim import duty. If you believe the unit has a value greater than £250GBP please get in touch with us before shipping.

We will not add 20% U.K. purchase tax for orders outside the U.K.. However, you may be charged import duty on the repair cost and local purchase tax on arrival back in your country.
